That time of year

Students around the western world are completing their studies for the term.  This tradition has existed for 1,000 years.  Billions of students have done this across the centuries  We are excited to see our students complete their semester and prepare for a well-deserved break.  We pray for rest, restoration, and strength to serve others over the holidays.  "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." - Matthew 9:37-38.

It is not about us

We are preparing the next generation.  That is our purpose.  That is our vision.  The next generation is going to do this, whether they are prepared or not.  This is as predictable as it gets, and we would rather not leave it to chance.  Many people complain about it.  You can help.  Provide financial support now at www.oakvalleycollege.org/donate.

New Student Orientation - August 16

New Student Orientation is August 16.  We still have a few spots open.  If you are interested in enrolling, please contact Don Foor, dfoor@oakvalleycollege.org.  This is your chance to experience something new and unique - a debt-free Christian college experience.  Earn your bachelor's degree in three years through our year-round schedule.

Debt-free vs. the other options

According to The College Board, last year, the cost of attending private colleges averaged $43,921 and public universities were $19,548.  We know it may not sound real, but Oak Valley College tuition, FOR EARNING YOUR DEGREE, is around $10,000.  That is not a misprint.  We are able to offer affordable tuition by not paying high costs to sustain a campus, expensive athletic programs, or high administrative salaries.

Two facts

There are two facts that we frequently get challenged about.  First is our cost.  Yes, it is true that the cost for Oak Valley College is $75 per unit.  There are almost no strings attached.  The first string is you have to apply, and the application deadline is July 1.

Career Development

Gregg Simmons, our Career Development Director, served as Director of Athlete and Education Services for the US Olympic Committee (USOC).  Gregg comes to OVC with more than 20 years of service in career development, most of those years serving colleges and university students.
