ARROW STAFFING PARTNERSHIP

Oak Valley College, in cooperation with Arrow Staffing, provides employers with a college benefit option for part-time employees.  This is a no-cost benefit for employers.  To participate, you would identify four or more part-time (up to 20 hours per week) employees interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Oak Valley College.

Students pay a discounted tuition rate of $75 per unit, around $10,000 for the entire degree program.  Classes are scheduled 2:30-6:00pm, Monday-Thursdays, so your employee schedules would need to be weekday mornings or evenings, Fridays, or weekends.  

LAUNCH PAD

The Launch Pad will teach your employee-students how to imagine, develop, and implement a new product or service.  This can be done on their own time, so it is offered at no-cost to you.  The end product benefits your company.  Students will learn valuable lessons about product lifecycles and how to turn great ideas into real-world products or services. 

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Your employee-students would gain valuable leadership development opportunities.  Oak Valley College courses cover a variety of leadership and practical business topics, including organizational leadership, project management, supervision, management, entrepreneurship, finance, accounting, and much more.  

As students explore these topics, they gain valuable leadership insights and learn advance problem solving, customer satisfaction. performance management, supervisory excellence, lean principles, and other insights that make them more productive and more valuable to you as an emerging leader.

CONSULTING

Oak Valley College instructors are professionals in the field.  For instance, when your students learn project management skills, our instructor is available to consult with senior leaders in your company about a project that employee-students may work on.  You gain valuable insights from a professional with years of experience in the field, and the employee-students work on a project that immediately benefits the organization.

CHRISTIAN ETHICS AND PRINCIPLES

Each course explores practical ways to apply Christian ethics and principles.  Students learn how to support others using examples and lessons drawn from the Bible.  This will greatly improve your employee's ability to manage conflict, improve interpersonal communication, and treat peers, clients, and others with respect and honor.  It also provides them a Christian worldview that is helps them better balance, work, life, spiritual decisions.
